I just came across this over on Nie's blog. It really was the perfect thing for me to read today.
It was the kind of day that practically the second Hubby walked in the door, I walked out because I. needed. a. break. I also needed to buy eggs and yogurt before the store closed... We did dine together, quickly, before I left -the Little Pirate still in his chair covered in rice and lentils, blowing me kisses and saying, "bye." Which somehow is cuter now than it was then...
This life of a stay-at-home-mom, it's wonderful and somedays -like today- seriously challenging.
Random story from the day:
Today when I went to get L. Pirate out of time-out (for the umpteenth time) he'd pulled his diaper down and peed in his bed (which doubles as time-out). Then he says, "Potty." When we were in Wyoming my MIL told me she thought he'd be ready to potty train soon... I guess this is just one more proof of that, eh?

Yeah, sounds like potty training time. Especially if he can say the word "potty", and understands its meaning. Your husband might want to show him how to stand and pee- its very exciting when they can do it in the potty, might even want to get some cheerios and put them in the potty for target practice. ;)
That picture his hilarious!! And cute. I love those faces kids make. My Little Bub does them all the time and it cracks me up. And he's not even two weeks old!
Thanks for sharing that quote.
Oh my gosh, I LOVE that picture!!!
I was so ready to give Charlotte away today! Hahaha. Not really, but I know exactly what you mean!! It's a hard age! And yet, I catch myself watching her in awe sometimes... Because I don't even remember this age with my other two. :( So as hard as it is, try to enjoy it. (And I know you are!)
