They are always up in your ribs even when you've dropped. It's when you feel like you can't sit for fear of folding the child in half that you know you've dropped.
I think you have.
Interestingly future babies will drop faster.
My third baby dropped 6 weeks before I had him! 6 horrendous, painful weeks.
He was so low that the doctor almost did an ultrasound because my belly was to small. He was so low that the doctor said the only place he has to go is out.
The morning that he was born I woke up in tears and I looked at my husband and I said, "I can't do another day of this. I HURT."
Yea for you! Neither of my kids dropped, and my body doesn't have contractions; so it makes for some long-can't breath very well-how can they be in my ribs and on my bladder- pregnancies:)
One of the ways you can tell if the baby has "dropped" is if you can eat more. Also, if you feel more pressure on the pelvic floor, and yes, if you can breathe easier! Sounds like everything is as it should be.
It's always nice to breathe! I never had a real sensation of my babies dropping. I carried my low to begin with. But I think about you every day and hope it's a good one for you. Can't wait to visit and see little Will. I will get him all to myself when I come and visit!! Have a good day. Love you.
