I am and always have been terrible at spelling. After yesterday's cell phone post I got an email from my mother, "Heather, you spelled Straight wrong. You also used "there" instead of "their." You really should let me proof read your posts."
1. I know the difference between there, their, and they're. I don't make that mistake very often.
2. I always spell "straight" s-t-r-a-i-t. Always. Even my 6th graders corrected me on that one. On a regular basis.
I blame George.
Any words you consistently spell incorrectly?

Funny, enough I wrote about the same thing today, sort of. Only my mom usually calls a few days after I post something. :)
I always forget, is it paid or payed. I know they're both technically correct (because I looked it up), but can never remember which is the normal spelling.
I also mess up on your and you're. I know how to use them, I just interchange them without thinking, especially in comments. :)
I used to spell calendar incorrectly until I realized it was an aba pattern. Luckily my mom wouldn't notice a spelling mistake because I am a far better speller!
just figured out recently that i've been spelling definately wrong my entire life. definitely.
definately. See. Spelled it wrong.
I'm actually a spell freak. I won the spelling bee in 8th grade. :) My problem is that I always type the wrong word. Like I put a word that rhymes with what I'm trying to say... Stuff like that!
i love george strait!
