counting down, counting back, counting up, and on!

I'm in a bit of reflective mood of late. I think it may have something to do with the fact much of my life is in limbo at the moment. It may also have something to do with the fact that I'll be 30 in a few months. 30! When and how did that happen? 15 is so clear and vivid in my memory, it's difficult to understand how that could possibly have been half my lifetime ago. And yet, is was. Half of my life ago.

Anyway, I've been trying to think of something or somethings to do before my birthday, and... I'm not getting very far. Any suggestions? Any ideas? Want to make a "Things you should do before you're 30" list for me? Or, heck, how about a "Things to do before you're 40" and I'll get a 10 year head start, because the way these years are stacking up one on top of the other, I'll be 40 tomorrow. Or sometime next week. Seriously.

On my list before I turn 30 is to go sky diving, finally stay at home with my kids, do the Christmas 5k, go to Disneyland again with my kids... I have 2 1/2 years to complete this, but I don't feel like I am getting closer to 30. It's so weird to think I used to be the youngest at work, and now there is a whole new wave of people that are younger than me:)

I have a small "before I turn 30" bucket list. Most of the things I have on there I haven't done and some are impossible to do in the next month. Like run a 10k.

I'm going to try to get as many done as possible in the next 32 days. Yikes.

30... how did this happen???

Okay before you're 40:

Visit Scotland :P!

Before 30:

I honestly don't have a clue but I have 4 years of my own life to think that one through...most of the stuff I wanted, I have. I would just say enjoy it, have fun, laugh as much as possible and if there's anything you really and truly want - and can kind of afford - then buy it. Live life with no regrets :)

hum... that's a tough one. I don't know about a list to do before I'm 30 but I have been thinking a lot about things I wanted to do over the next couple years. One is relive my childhood vacations for my son. (like -slide rock, camping on the beach, camping at the KOA, etc..) Next year when I do turn 30 My husband said we are actually going to throw a party if you can believe it. LOL , um....One thing I think I would try is that water slide that goes through a shark tank at the gold nugget in Los Vegas. Anyway, maybe just take a few pictures to record for posterity your youth. I have pictures of both of my grandmas from there twenties, and I get a hoot out of them.Other then that, your still young live it and love it.
