the sky was falling

and falling
and falling

and then it stopped

and the clouds were laying on the street
and in the yard and in the trees and on the fence posts.
Soft, fluffy, whiteness everywhere!
It was like a little bit of heaven came down to earth.
And because I didn't have anywhere to go today,
I kinda liked it.

Well, you know how I feel about it, but I think you are right...the key words are "and because I didn't have to go anywhere today"
Although, it makes me kinda like it just a little bit more when I think of it as the sky falling. As clouds on my doorstep! Love it! :) Enjoy the stuff, you only have about 5 more months of it! LOL!

Your snow was way better then mine. I hope we get more, and a lot more that will actually stick! Enjoy your time.

You know, I sort of miss seeing the snow. Don't miss living in it, but I wish I could just have a day to see it and play in it.

And my first snowy winter was my favorite one.
