be of good cheer

This phrase has been on my mind a lot lately.
Do you realize how many times it's in the scriptures?
Be of good cheer.

Let's not lie.
Sometimes this is a tough one for me.
Sometimes as in once a month
-and I think you know what I mean.

But this go round the good cheer
didn't take a day off
It only took the morning,
which is something of an accomplishment.

Of course I was disappointed.
And not thrilled to be heading off to church,
but... during the sacrament I was reading
a favorite hymn of mine
and the last verse jumped out at me.
It hugged me & I felt lifted.

 I believe in Christ; he stands supreme!
From him I’ll gain my fondest dream;
And while I strive through grief and pain,
His voice is heard: “Ye shall obtain.”
I believe in Christ; so come what may,
With him I’ll stand in that great day
When on this earth he comes again
To rule among the sons of men.

  And now, verily I say unto you, and what I say unto one
I say unto all, be of good acheerblittle children;
for I am in your cmidst, and I have not dforsaken you;
D&C 61:36

Today I gave a talk on Faith - I learned that faith is a principal of action which requires us to do, not just believe. And you, Heather, are doing -

I love that He calls us little children in that scripture. Because we ARE little children to Him! We have SO much to learn. I have so much to learn.

This is a great lesson. I like how you made "So come what may" the biggest; it really stood out to me!

I have been working on this for a long time. Elder Worthlin's talk "So come what may and love it," has really helped me in that. I love that talk.
