to die to sleep no more

have a baby.

either one = sleep no more.

he seems to have a personal vendetta against me finding my way to the land o' slumber.
and how his little radar works, i will never know. but this i do know: over the past month i'd say a solid 80% of the time i *try* to nap, he somehow knows... that radar clicks in his seconds before completely sound asleep self & he wakes up solely to prevent me from sleeping.

the rotten little pirate.

it's a good thing i love him so much.
sleep depravation does not wear well on me.

Oh I know those nights... I ended up having him sleep right next to me in his crib. It actually helped him to sleep longer because he could still hear me breathing and I could catch him before he was totally screaming, just grunting for food. He went back to sleep faster and I went back to sleep faster... Good luck. Last night was the first night in MONTHS that Tennyson only woke up once instead of every hour... :)

I totally hear ya!!! I haven't slept more than 2 1/2 hours at a time since Carter was born. And I only get 1 opportunity a day to nap since I have a crazy 2 year old running around! And my help will be leaving soon so I'll HAVE to get up at 6:30am every day with Owen. I hope I don't become a nightmare to be around! Good luck to you getting sleep! :)

Welcome to motherhood. My little guy has the radar for me taking a nap, getting ready to soak in the tub or sitting down to eat! Don't know how they do it but they do. Glad that I am not the only mom in this boat! Hope that it gets better and you start getting some sleep.
