"The revelation to store food may be as essential to our temporal salvation today as boarding the ark was to the people in the days of Noah."
-Ezra T. Benson
Now you're thinking about it too, aren't you?
Those are some pretty strong words coming from the mouth of a prophet -don't you think!? Since I read that I've been seriously thinking about food storage. If it came down to it, I think we could survive on what's in our house for about 2 weeks, 3 if we stretched it. That fact is kind of scary to me, especially now that we've got a babe to feed.
So, doing a little research in this I found that eFoods Global is offering FREE FOOD (12 servings) to anyone who goes HERE and watches THIS video. (It doesn't take very long. You are responsible for shipping charges, but hey, free food is free food -and I'm all about it!)
Now... If only I could find someone willing to give me a free canner! Anyone??

That's awesome!
My Mom is the QUEEN of food storage, if you ever want to see an amazing supply! :)
wow! how cool! free food is awesome, always. I know a few people who could use that more than me so I might send my "food" to them instead of having it shipped to me...
love your blog!

I always have this on my mind. Sometimes I am really good at keeping my storage stacked, and other times I let it slide.
I've been thinking about it more lately, mainly because I'm the ward cannery specialist. And I had never even stepped foot inside a cannery before my calling, and our food storage consisted of whatever happened to be in our cupboard! Nothing like forcing me to start thinking about it. But, now I'm slowly starting to stock up on more things. In our stake we can go to the cannery or check out a canner to use at home. I haven't done that yet, but maybe you could do the same?
Wow, I would have never thought such a thing existed!
I think we could survive for a year on our food, though the last six months would be a little stale. Though, we would definitely run out of toilet paper.
And, free food sounds great. We borrowed a canner from the cannery a month ago. I think I just need to own one.
