I'm totally convinced.
They also love piles of dirty laundry.
Wet hair.
Peeled, but only half-eaten bananas.
Dishes on the counter top.
Unmade beds.
Towels left on the floor.
Cereal boxes left open,
and sneaking into my room whenever the door is open.
I have no evidence to support my conclusions -anecdotal nor otherwise.
Before we came here I was warned about the roaches. "They're like four inches long!" "They're all over the place." "You can watch them run when you turn the lights on, it's like the whole floor is moving."
I was mentally prepared to have to share a room with the roaches. To date I have seen 5 of them. All out of doors, thankfully!! However, I keep expecting to come across one or two in places like my diaper bag, or the pocket of a dirty pair of jeans. I have one truly horrid image of one half in and half out of The Babe's mouth. (Hey, totally happened to my mom. I ate half a roach when I was his age. True story.)
But, so far, so good.
I've just become a total clean freak for the time being.
Probably not a bad thing.

Hey we used to have hundreds of roaches when we moved into a house in St. George. My mom found a way to get rid of them. We wouldn't see one for at least two to three years after. Cockroaches are the reason I don't eat olives. Too much resemblance. Anyway, if you want to know how she did it just let me know.
Ew, ew, ew, ew, ew.
Ew.
I'm so glad I live in Utah.
I've never seen a roach in any of our homes in Colorado. I thought they were a "southern hemisphere" thing!
Growing up in the South, I've seen my share though and they're disgusting!!
Eww Eww Eww.
We have lots of bugs, but I'm so glad we don't have roaches. Though it would probably good encouragement to keep my house clean. :)
Sharing your room with roaches is extremely harmful to your health. I’ll never get used to them even if I have to see 5 to 10 of them every day. When talking about roaches and unwanted pests, all I could think of is “get rid of them, ASAP”. Jeffrey @ BugManiacs.com
Roaches are sneaky little creatures; and just like the little devils they are, they seem to know when your stuff are dirty and are left out behind. I hope you are no longer sharing your room with bunch of roaches. Keep your “clean freak” attitude
going!

It's okay to be alarmed by the pests that roam your house or. For one, it's certainly possible that the cockroaches are harmful to your health and home. Therefore, I suggest you hire a professional. After all, the dangers you might be faced with for sharing a room with roaches could be extreme. Anyway, I do hope you're done with that issue by now. All the best!
