like a train.

It seems an appropriate title. My life seems to be moving that fast. I introduced myself to a couple at church today that I hadn't seen before. They've been here for, I think they said, six months... We're getting ready to move on, but when I told them we've been here for 3 1/2 years now my head started spinning a bit. When we moved in, Pirate was only a hope and prayer -a miracle waiting to happen. Now he's outside, riding his bike. (In fact, he just had his first crash on his bike. He came in crying, I kissed it better, and he was on his way back outside, back to his bike.)

I was surrounded by babies at church today, trying to listen to the lessons and hearing that biological clock of mine tick instead...

In other news...

It's Memorial Day tomorrow. We'll celebrate with a BBQ (it's finally warm enough around here to have those now) and a prayer of thanks to those who shouldered this before us, and to those who shoulder it now.

Then, Tuesday will come and with it, a engine gathering speed down a track that will take us to our new "home." My SIL is coming this week for a visit. I'm SO excited to see her! We've got all kinds of fun plans for her stay. Then after her visit, we've got things to sort out, Goodwill runs to make, shelves and pictures to take down, holes to patch, walls to scrub and paint, baseboards to clean...

Oh. And the little matter of finding a place to live.

I am crossing my fingers I can find another Megan. I realize Megan is one of a kind and not at all replaceable, but a Megan-type and by that I mean "a kindred spirit."

Anyways... Time to go. Time to give this babe a bath.

I can't believe it's already time to move on!! I feel like you were just in Provo, and we were buying matching bracelets!

It is crazy how life flies right on past while we are living it! I guess it doesn't go anywhere, we go with it, it just seems like it moves on so quickly! I am excited for you though, change can be so fun! Good luck with everything, and happy Memorial Day!
