I really love Christmas trees.
I love sitting in their glow, late at night when the rest of the house is sleeping.
I think about Meaning of the season, and what I can get Him this year.
I think about Christmas morning, and how much fun it's going to be to watch my Pirate.
I think about the goals I made a year ago, and the ones I'd like to make now.
Then I take a deep breath, trying to take it all in, and I sit in the moment.
Not thinking, just feeling. Joy. Gratitude. Anticipation.
Feeling so very blessed.

I do miss the tree lights this year. All we have is a poster board tree. Which the kids love, because they can decorate it however they want. But it doesn't have that glow!
