just exactly what i needed. (part two)

Lately, as I've mentioned before,
I've been feeling pretty homesick.

This part due to weather.
I am not a fan of snow.
I am not a fan of cold.
And we've been having plenty of that.

But more than that I'm homesick
as in I've been feeling pretty isolated,
and I really wish I had some of my girls near by.
I want my mom, and I want my Kemra.
I want my Keri and my Megan, and
Sam, Wendy, Nadia, Elisa, Elizabeth, Kate, Rae...
You know, my girlfriends.
I had a great group in Utah.
I really did.
I was really hoping for one of those here.

I think eventually I will have one,
but at the moment I don't,
and sometimes a girl just wants
the chance to get herself cute and
go to lunch with a girlfriend.
And this week I got to do just that.

Turns out a fellow blogger friend
lives kinda close to me,
and so we went to lunch, and it was awesome.

And, because she is so nice, she brought me spring, see?

The whole day just lifted me.
I was really needing a girl-date,
and a friend in the flesh too.

Yay! So glad! I seemed to have missed the whole moving thing and am sad that next time I go to Utah, you won't be there. :(

I'm glad I'm included in your list. It's too bad we didn't have more time here to hang out, but I'm glad I'm your friend. And don't worry, it will take some time but you will make a new group of friends and they will be great.

Man I could really use a girls night at your house. Sorry you don't have that there yet but it won't take you long at all to get one up and going.

It was really lovely to meet you, "H"--
we need to get together again soon, cuz ya know, you "owe" me lunch...and I want to go to the MOST expensive place in town!
lol Next time, I'll bring my friends, and tell them to bring their friends, and before you know it--they'll all be Your Friends!
